Could it ever happen that a new Juliet, in a not remote future, could love an "electronic", cyber Romeo? Probably not, but this time, anyway, Romeo and Juliet won' t die...to my Juliet, Sandra.

2004/05/24: Romeo 0.1.3pre4 cannot create the list of games if you use mame 0.82 for windows! This problem depends on mame! Download the Nightly CVS tarball or pre-compiled binaries

2004/01/08: I am working to release a stable version. I am fixing bugs and testing Romeo with xmame 0.60 for thebackward compatibility. I need beta-testers for Windows 98/NT/2000/XP.Read here how to send me a bug report.

2004/01/04: Romeo 0.1.3pre4 released! Fixed a serious bug occuring when Romeo checks whether all files needed by a ROM are available.

2003/10/28: After 2 months I started to develop Romeo again. I am going to release a new version in a few days. I added the possibility to choose three different data storing types: XML, MySQL, text. Now the proggy handles multiple xmame executables and multiple rom directories in a better way. I created a new class, DataIO.java, to handle I/O operations.I added support for xmame 0.76.1 and restored a minimal backward compatibility for xmame version number less than or equal to 0.66.I also opened up a cvs repository: open a shell and type:

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/stefanobolli login
# press Enter at the password prompt

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/stefanobolli co Romeo

You can browse the CVS tree and download a nightly build CVS tarball
